Terms of Service

RobotX Technologies LLC (“we”, “us”, “our”) is an engineering consulting business based in the United Arab Emirates, specializing in robotics, automation, and embedded systems. “You” means the person or organization using the site or engaging our services.

In these Terms: a “Consulting Session” is a scheduled one-to-one engineering consultation booked through the site. A “Quote” is a written offer we issue for defined engineering work, stating its scope, deliverables, milestones, and prices. “Custom Work” is engineering work we perform for you under a Quote you have accepted. An “Engagement” is a single Consulting Session, or a single Custom Work project under one accepted Quote.

We provide professional engineering services: Consulting Sessions, design and architecture reviews, and Custom Work under accepted Quotes, such as robotics and automation systems, embedded firmware, and electronics design. Each accepted Quote defines the scope, deliverables, milestones, and prices of its project. If a Quote contains terms specific to a project, those terms apply to that project and take precedence over these Terms in case of conflict.

We do not sell off-the-shelf products through this site. Everything we deliver is a professional service performed for a specific client.

Consulting Sessions are scheduled through the booking page embedded on this site, which runs on Google Calendar appointment scheduling. When you book, you choose a time slot and provide your name, your email address, and an optional note on what you want to discuss. Payment for a session is taken as part of the booking flow, or invoiced where we have agreed that with you in advance.

Rescheduling, cancellation, and no-shows are governed by our Refund Policy.

Custom Work begins with a written Quote. A Quote becomes binding when you accept it, and remains valid for the period stated on it. Unless a Quote says otherwise, projects are billed in milestones: each milestone lists its deliverables and its price, and becomes payable as set out in the Quote.

Milestone payments are made by card through Stripe checkout links that we send to you or make available on your quote page. Stripe processes the payment; your card details go directly to Stripe, and we never see or store them. Prices are stated in US dollars unless the Quote names another currency, and exclude any taxes the law requires us to add.

To perform the work, you may share requirements, drawings, source code, samples, credentials, or other materials with us. You keep all rights to your materials. We use them only to deliver the Engagement, we treat them as confidential, and we do not disclose your project information to third parties, except to subcontractors bound by equivalent confidentiality duties or where the law requires disclosure.

We are glad to sign a non-disclosure agreement before you share sensitive information. Attach yours to your quote request, or ask us at info@robotx.ae and we will provide one.

Each party retains the intellectual property it owned before the Engagement, including our pre-existing designs, libraries, tools, and know-how. The deliverables of Custom Work are those defined in the accepted Quote. On receipt of full payment for the Engagement, the agreed deliverables, together with their source files, transfer to you as stated in the Quote. Where our pre-existing components are embedded in a deliverable, you receive a license to use them as part of that deliverable.

Advice given in a Consulting Session is yours to use in your project. Session recordings and written summaries, where provided, are for your internal use.

We perform all services with reasonable professional skill and care, and deliverables are checked against the acceptance criteria defined in the accepted Quote. Beyond that, and to the extent the law allows, services and deliverables are provided without other warranties, express or implied.

Engineering deliverables must always be validated in the context of the final product. Unless the accepted Quote states otherwise, you remain responsible for system-level integration, testing, safety assessment, certification, and regulatory compliance of any product or installation that incorporates our work, and for verifying that a deliverable is suitable and safe for your operating conditions before production or deployment.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to an Engagement is limited to the fees you actually paid for that Engagement. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (including lost profits, lost data, production downtime, product recalls, or certification costs), even if we were advised of the possibility. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the courts of the United Arab Emirates have jurisdiction over disputes arising from them. This is without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live.

We may update these Terms from time to time, for example when we add services or when the law changes. The “last updated” date at the top of this page shows the current version, and material changes are posted on this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated Terms. The version in force when you booked a session or accepted a quote is the version that applies to that Engagement.
